In Kerala, we come across numerous roofing options to choose from, here are some of the most commonly used roofing materials that gives every home its perfect crown:

  • Clay Tiles:

Clay tiles are one of the most common roofing options in Kerala from decades and are now available in many variants, shapes, profiles and colour tones.. These are ideal for all terrains and suited for even very harsh climatic conditions. While choosing clay tiles for your home, make sure you opt for the right grade of it, depending on the usage. The more the usage of a particular area of the roof, the higher the grade of the tile should be. Good interlocking between tiles is important in regions with strong winds

  • Variety roofing Tiles

The attraction of roofing tiles are mainly in its variance of finishing. One of such tile is the one with powder finishing, which does not need to be painted and will retain its new-look for a long time. Another variety of tile is the one that is similar to wall tiles with glazed finishing. These tiles too will retain its new-look for longer period and there is no need to worry about fading colours either.
